Privacy of the Musunoa: The Faceless game
The game is published by IHT CONSULTING. For questions about your data, contact support@musunoa.com. These details cover Musunoa: The Faceless accounts, online play and diagnostics, in addition to the website information above.
The game uses your display name and birth year, together with the identifiers needed to operate a guest account or an account linked to an email address. If you create an email account, your email address and authentication data are used to verify, secure and recover that account.
To provide online play and manage progress, our servers process match information, results, rating, collection, decks, ryos balance and related transactions. Technical information may include the device model, operating system and version, platform, game version, game language and device language.
Terms of Use and game statistics. At first launch, the game asks you to accept its Terms of Use, which sum up this information; they are required to play. From age 15, they cover game statistics: screens opened, campaign missions started, won, lost or abandoned, offline duels, entering online play and how the previous session ended (normal exit, crash or freeze). They come with a technical profile of the device (model, operating system and version, processor, memory, graphics card, screen, “Graphics” setting, languages) and, on Android, the install source reported by Google Play (source type and the name of any advertising campaign, without click identifiers). They are tied to a random installation identifier generated by the game and to your account, and are used to improve the game. You can turn them off at any time in settings (“Game statistics”) without losing access to the game. On Android, from age 15 and as long as statistics stay on, the game uses Firebase Analytics, a Google service. It shares with Google the device’s advertising ID, the installation, purchases and whether the tutorial or mission 1 was finished, to measure our Google Ads campaigns. This data is not used to personalize ads. On other platforms, the game uses neither an advertising ID nor a third-party measurement tool. Until your age is known, only anonymous counters for the first launch and the Terms of Use screen are sent.
These data are used to operate the game, manage accounts and access rights, protect the service, prevent abuse, produce aggregate operational statistics and fix errors. The game contains no advertising. Ryo purchases are made in your platform’s store, for example Google Play, Apple’s App Store or the Epic Games Store. To credit them to your account, our servers receive the proof of purchase and the order reference and, for a purchase on the Epic Games Store, the identifier of the Epic account that made it. This information is kept for the life of the account, then handled under the deletion rules below. We never receive your bank card details; never send them to us.
Recipients, security and visibility
Data needed to provide the service are accessible to IHT CONSULTING and technical providers acting on its behalf, only for their hosting, email, security or payment tasks. Your display name, friend code, rating and match results may be visible to other players in the relevant features. Your email address, birth year and authentication data are not displayed to other players. On Android, as long as statistics stay on, Google also receives the data shared with Firebase Analytics described above.
Connections to public Musunoa servers use HTTPS. Error reports are sanitized to remove email addresses, personal folder paths, IP addresses and authentication details that might appear in their text. Game statistics do not contain your IP address: a hash of the address is used for at most one day to limit abuse.
Retention and optional diagnostics
Data needed for your account and progress are retained while the account exists, then deleted or anonymized when you delete the account, as described below. Session technical context is replaced when updated; records older than 13 months are removed. Game statistics and installation profiles are deleted after 13 months.
Error and crash reports are covered by the Terms of Use accepted at first launch; you can turn them off at any time in settings. Reports contain the error type, sanitized message, version, platform, language and, where applicable, the scene and technical stack trace. They carry the game’s installation identifier, which ties them to your account unless you turn statistics off; they are deleted after 90 days.
Support diagnostic. When you request it in settings, the game sends a diagnostic: the device’s technical profile, smoothness measurements, the latest game steps, the latest errors and rejected requests. It is linked to your account if you are signed in. The code shown lets support find it; the diagnostic is deleted after 30 days.
For players declared to be under 15, the game sends no error reports, optional technical context, game statistics or support diagnostics. Data essential to accounts, matches and game access rights are still processed to provide the service.
Delete your Musunoa account and its data
In the game, open your account from settings and choose “Delete my account”. An account linked to an email address confirms the request using its password; a guest account uses the confirmation shown in the game.
You may also request deletion without reinstalling the game by emailing support@musunoa.com, preferably from the email address linked to the account. State that you want to delete your Musunoa: The Faceless account and provide your display name. We may request proof that you own the account before completing the request. Never email us your password, guest secret or sign-in codes.
Account deletion is permanent. It removes the email address, authentication data, display name, birth year, sessions, collection, decks, ryos balance, ranked profile, friendships, technical context, devices registered for notifications, game statistics and diagnostics sent to support linked to the account. Ryos, including purchased ryos, and account-linked progress are lost.
Previously played matches and some transaction records may be retained in anonymized form to preserve opponents’ results and support verification. Error reports remain for at most 90 days, with no link to the deleted account. Any legally required retention is limited to the information and period required.
To access, correct or request deletion of your data, contact support@musunoa.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.
